Project Overview
United-BIM developed an as-built BIM model and coordinated MEP model for a healthcare facility project in Florida. The model captured existing architectural conditions, major MEP systems, patient areas, service corridors, utility rooms, ceiling zones, and equipment spaces.
The BIM model helped the project team verify existing conditions, plan MEP upgrades, review ceiling and service zones, and reduce coordination issues before renovation documentation was finalized.

Project Overview
| # | Challenge | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Existing drawings did not fully reflect current field conditions. | Converted point cloud data into an accurate as-built Revit model for renovation planning. |
| 2 | MEP systems had to be reviewed around patient areas, ceilings, service corridors, and equipment spaces. | Coordinated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection routes within the BIM model. |
| 3 | Ceiling spaces had limited room for ducts, piping, conduits, and access panels. | Used model-based coordination to review service zones, access clearances, and routing conflicts. |
| 4 | The project team needed reliable documentation before renovation work moved ahead. | Generated coordinated model views, plans, sections, and documentation outputs from the BIM model. |
| 5 | Multiple design updates had to be managed without losing model consistency. | Maintained a structured Revit model with clear discipline separation and regular coordination updates |
