Project Overview
United-BIM provided city-scale BIM modeling and urban context modeling for this large urban development project. The scope included buildings, road networks, open spaces, parking areas, landscape zones, and surrounding site infrastructure within a coordinated 3D environment. The model helped project teams visualize the overall development layout, understand site relationships, and support planning and coordination discussions.

Project Overview
| # | Challenge | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Large project area with multiple buildings, roads, open spaces, and site elements | Developed a city-scale BIM model to bring the overall urban layout into one coordinated digital environment |
| 2 | Need to represent surrounding context without over-detailing every building | Modeled the urban context at an appropriate level of detail to balance visual clarity, file performance, and project usability |
| 3 | Coordination of buildings, roads, parking zones, landscape areas, and infrastructure corridors | Organized model elements by zones and categories to improve coordination and review across project teams |
| 4 | Requirement for better visualization of development density and site relationships | Created 3D views that helped stakeholders understand building placement, access routes, open spaces, and surrounding context |
| 5 | Managing a large BIM model while keeping it practical for review and coordination | Maintained a clean model structure with simplified geometry where required to support efficient navigation and coordination |
