Project Overview
United-BIM supported a transportation facility project in Florida with a coordinated BIM model and 4D planning workflow. The model included public access areas, utility rooms, service corridors, equipment spaces, structural zones, and MEP routes.
The BIM workflow helped the project team review multidisciplinary coordination, detect conflicts, plan construction sequencing, and improve visibility before construction activities moved forward.

Project Overview
| # | Challenge | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Public areas, service zones, utilities, and equipment rooms required coordinated planning. | Created a federated BIM model for multidisciplinary coordination and design review. |
| 2 | MEP routes and utility zones had potential conflicts with structure and access requirements. | Used clash detection to identify routing conflicts, clearance issues, and coordination risks. |
| 3 | Construction activities required better visibility into phasing and logistics. | Linked model elements with schedule data to support 4D sequencing and phase review. |
| 4 | The project team needed a clearer way to review technical conflicts. | Prepared coordination views, clash reports, and issue logs for project team discussions. |
| 5 | Documentation had to stay aligned with model updates. | Updated model views and coordination outputs as design changes were reviewed. |
